Libyan aircraft hits lamp post at QAIA, no injuries reported
AMMONNEWS - A Libyan airplane Saturday night hit a lamp post at Queen Alai International Airport (QAIA) runway while heading to a maintenance area , but no injuries were reported.
A statement by the Airport International Group (AIG) said that airport continues to operate as usual with no flight delays.
The plane was scheduled to take off for Benghazi at 7:00 pm yesterday, but the accident forced it to stay at QAIA for maintenance.
