AMMONNEWS - Jordanians who are interested in obtaining a scholarship to further their education in The United States of America have the opportunity to meet representatives from several Universities and Colleges during a fair taking place in Amman on September 20, 2014. The American Education Expo Scholarship Fair will take place at the Kempinski Hotel on Abdul Hamid Shouman Street from 6.00pm to 9.00pm. Entrance is free.
The participating Universities, some of who will be offering full tuition scholarships include; Murray State University, Rider University, Pace University, SUNY Institute of Technology, Concordia University Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Pennsylvania State University, Drexel University, National University, Adelphi University, Saint Joseph's University, University of The Potomac and Drury University.
Representatives from these American colleges and universities will discuss undergraduate and graduate admissions and scholarship opportunities. Interested students should bring multiple copies of their report cards, transcripts, and TOEFL scores to enable representatives to determine admission and scholarship eligibility.
“The American Education Expo is a free chance for potential future students and parents to meet face to face with representatives from the top US universities. This is a great opportunity for students in Jordan to be rewarded for their achievements and hard work in high school,” said Silvia Martinez Lowden, Program Coordinator at International Student Network, the organizers of the Fair.
