AMMONNEWS - His Royal Highness Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, on Monday, visited the Cochlear Implant Center of the King Abdullah University Hospital, where he was briefed on cochlear implant operations.
Noteworthy, the Crown Prince sponsored earlier this year an initiative to treat children who suffer from hearing problems and need to cochlear implants. The initiative was launched by the Royal Court in 2011.
Director of the center, Dr. Firas al-Zu'abi delivered a briefing on the center's work and operations it performs, noting that the center has treated 735 cochlear implant-related cases since 2006.
Elsewhere, the Crown Prince dropped by the homes of two needy families in the Irbid village of Buwaideh and checked on their conditions and gave orders of assisting them.
