Labor, tourism minister meets with U.S. ambassador
AMMONNEWS - Minister of Labor and Tourism, Nidal Qatamin, on Tuesday, met with U.S. Ambassador to Jordan, Stuart E. Jones, whose tenure as ambassador in Amman has come to an end.
The two officials discussed U.S.-Jordanian ties and ways of cementing them in various domains. The ambassador commended measures the labor ministry has taken to improve the work environment in the Kingdom. He noted that USAID will provide financial support to a 5-year work development project in the Kingdom.
