AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday reiterated his pride in all the personnel and retired servicemen and those serving in the security forces, who are 'loyal comrades and protectors of achievements in the national march of development'.
During a meeting with a group of retired servicemen in Amman, the King said he was keen to meet with this segment of the Jordanian people to listen to their points of view on various national issues.
The King underlined the importance of documenting the sacrifices and achievements of the retired servicemen and veterans as well as their services for their homeland.
His Majesty directed that all the suggestions and proposals made by the attendees, especially those pertaining to development projects, be documented and sent to the government to be considered when future plans are to be formulated.
The meeting touched on various domestic issues as well as the latest regional developments and Jordan's stance on these.
