Ukrainians in Jordan cast their vote for presidential election
AMMONNEWS - By Anas Ali and Abdallah shalhub - On Sunday, the Ukranian embassy opened its doors for Ukrainian citizens, living in Jordan, to cast their vote in for Ukraine’s presidential election.
Jana Nelab, Embassy spokeswoman, told to Ammon that 415 Ukrainians living in Jordan are eligible to vote in the presidential elections. Twenty one candidates are running for the office representing most regions in the country.
She noted that the polling center at the embassy will be open from the 8:00 in the morning till 8:00 in the evening.
Ukrainian Ambassador Dr. Serhiy Pascoe thanked the Jordanian government help in facilitating the elections at the Ukrainian Embassy
Ambassador Pascoe congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people on the occasion of independence Day.
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan for supporting his country in international forums and the UN Security Council in dealing with the current political crisis in Ukraine .
