Jordanian banks can no longer ignore Sepa standard
AMMONNEWS - Jordan Central Bank announced that bank customers must use the international bank account Number (IBAN) for Financial remittances, a source in the Jordan Central Bank told Ammon News on Saturday.
Using (IBAN) will be 'obligatory requirement' for incoming and outgoing money transfers, whether locally or internationally , remittances that are not compliant will not be able to make or take after the deadline, 2 February 2014 .
The Source called on Business owners and customers who not yet received the international number to their bank accounts (IBAN,) to go to their banks and make sure to get the international number for all their accounts at the banks to ensure the implementation of their remittances.
