Ammonnews – Majed al-Dabbas- Palestinian parliamentarian Azzam al-Ahmad, told Ammon News on Thursday that the Palestinian Authority (PA) would not object to Jordanian military presence in the West Bank.
Al-Ahmad said that the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas informed the Jordanian king Abdullah II, in many occasions, that they wouldn't mind Jordanian troops in the West Bank as a result of the new undergoing peace negotiations.
al-Ahmad indicated, in a meeting held in Amman last Tuesday evening with journalists and politicians, that Abbas informed the Jordanian officials about the details of the final peace talks with the US Secretary John Kerry, which is expected to be announced soon.
He said that the Palestinian President, 'in hush talks', informed the Jordanian side that the unity between the two banks whether it is 'Federation or Confederation' will be immediately announced after revealing the final peace plan.
