Regent meets NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation
ِAMMAN (Petra)--His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, the Regent, met with a delegation representing the NATO Parliamentary Assembly on Monday to discuss the current developments in the Middle East as well as cooperation and partnership between Jordan and the NATO and means of booting them.
At the meeting, which was attended by Lower House Speaker Saad Hayel Srour, His Highness reiterated Jordan's support to efforts designed to acheive peace between the Palestinians and Israelis in line with the two-state solution and arrive at a comprehensive political solution to the Syrian crisis that ends the suffering of the Syrian people.
In this regard, the Regent pointed to burden shouldered by the Kingdom as a result of hosting a large number of Syrian refugees.
Members of the delegation praised Jordan's comprehensive reform process as well as efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah II to bring about peace and stability in the Middle East.
