Henkel Jordan Implements Charity Campaign in Al Zaatari Camp
AMMAN - Henkel Jordan, owner of Persil, Pril, DAC and X-TRA detergent brands in Jordan, gave out cleaning detergents to Syrian refugees in Al Zaatari Camp in cooperation with Save the Children. Over seven days, 1,512 personal and general hygiene kits containing 72,673 boxes of Shine were distributed.
This initiative is one of a number of CSR and charity initiatives carried out by the Company to help improve the living conditions of less fortunate segments of society.
“Through our participation in this initiative, we are hoping to a small gesture of our support. We truly sympathize with our fellow Syrians, and hope to do all that is in our power to make their daily hardships a little easier,” commented Hany Aman, General Manager of Henkel Jordan.
Located in Mafraq in the north of Jordan, Al Zaatari Camp is the second largest refugee camp in the world with 120 thousand refugees.
