Jordan takes part in Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries
AMMAN (Petra) – Jordan will be participating in the five-day Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries which opens at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo tomorrow.
Director of Palestinian Affairs Department Mahmoud Aqrabawi said he would deliver a speech that will highlight efforts of His Majesty King Abdullah II to support the Palestinians and their national authority in their quest to regain their legitimate rights and establish an independent state on the Palestinian national soil with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Aqrabawi will also present a working paper on the Israeli violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites, mainly the Al Aqsa Mosque.
The five-day conference will discuss the condition of Palestinian refugees in Arab host countries, the financial situation of the UNRWA and the means to extend support to it.
