Churches in Europe, Australia and US support Syrian refugees in Jordan
AMMAN (Petra)A number of churches in Europe, Australia and the United States extended $58000 to the DSPR- Jordan (The Near East Council of Churches Committee for Refugee Work) to help aid the Syrian refugees in Jordan.
The assistance comes upon an emergency relief call launched by the DSPR- Jordan to assist Syrian refugees, DSPR-Jordan chairperson Farah Atallah said.
The aid helped the DSPR- Jordan to start the second stage of food parcels distribution program to support Syrian refugees in Jordan during the Holy month of Ramadan, Atallah added, noting that the second stage of the program included the distribution of (1150) food parcel for Syrian refugees families.
