PM briefed about Aqaba containers terminal, praises southern city’s success
AMMAN (Petra) Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met on Thursday with APM Terminals chief executive, Middle East and Africa, Peder Sondergaard for a briefing about the company's container terminal project in the southern Jordanian city of Aqaba.
The prime minister was also briefed about the company's other projects in Aqaba, which were designed to help attract additional maritime routes and improve trade between Jordan and other countries.
During the meeting, Ensour stressed the government's commitment to improve the investment climate in Jordan and build on the success story of Aqaba.
