New Saudi labour regulations do not harm Jordanians — ambassador
RIYADH (Petra) — Jordan’s Ambassador in Riyadh Jamal Shamayleh on Sunday said new labour regulations adopted by Saudi Arabia do not jeopardise the job security of Jordanian workers there.
The Saudi authorities have made that clear to the embassy, he said, adding that the main purpose of the new regulations is to organise guest workers and help resolve their problems.
Saudi authorities had called on all institutions and guest workers to rectify their status July 3.
