PM: government will not raise electricity prices without consultation with the parliament
AMMAN (Petra) Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour stressed that the government will not raise electricity prices unless it exhausts all solutions, and after consultation with the Lower House of Parliament.
Ensour told 'Yesed Sabahak' morning on Jordan TV on Friday that a reshuffle of the cabinet would be carried out after the return of His Majesty King Abdullah II, adding that 'consultations will be held with parliamentary blocs to include them in the planned government reshuffle'.
Ensour also stressed the need to ensure the success of the parliament's role to fight corruption and service community. He also underlined the importance of solidifying national unity and press ahead with reform and development march.
