AMMAN Petra) The voting process which started at 7:00 a.m Wednesday is going on smoothly , according to Independent Electoral Commission( IEC) spokesman Hussein Bani Hani.
In the first press conference for IEC held at the Royal Cultural Center, Bani Hani stated that the voting was delayed for a few minutes in two ballot boxes: the first in the 6th voting district in Amman due to the death of a relative of one of the workers at the ballot box, while the other was due to a technical problem in Zarqa.
He added that the commission has not yet received any observations on the flow of voting from Arab and international voters.
The Spokesperson of the Independent Commission for Elections said that some of the voting centers witnessed a few minutes delay in opening the ballot boxes due to technical issues.
He added that the technical issues were related to the electronic link process, noting that the Commission's Information Technology department has fixed the problem in cooperation with Orange Company.
