500 caravans provided to Syrian refugees in Zaatari camp
AMMAN (Petra)--The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and the Bahrain Royal Charity Organization (RCO) signed on Tuesday a cooperation agreement to provide 500 caravans to Syrian refugees in the Zaatari camp.
The agreement was sealed by JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh and RCO Chief Mustafa Al Sayyed in the presence of the Bahraini Ambassador to Jordan Nasser Bin Rashid Al Kaabi.
Al Sayyed said during the signing ceremony that the agreement comes as part of efforts to alleviate the suffering of the refugees in winter and provide them with better living conditions.
Al Mifleh said the caravans come through an initiative the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifah, adding the JHCO will make the caravans available within 3 weeks.
