King accepts credentials of newly-appointed ambassadors

Ammon News - AMMAN - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday accepted credentials of newly- appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom.

The ambassadors are South Africa's Molefe Samuel Tsele, United Arab Emirates' Abdullah Nasser Sultan Al-Ameri, Iran's Mostafa Mosleh Zadeh, Serbia's Jovan Vujasinovic and Mexico's Maria Carmen Onate Munoz.

Upon arriving Basman Palace, His Majesty was accorded the Royal Salute by the Guard of Honour as a military band played the Jordanian national anthem.

As the new envoys arrived to the Palace, national anthems of Jordan and their countries were played.

Then, they laid wreaths on the tombs of the late King Hussein, the late King Abdullah I and the late King Talal Ben Abdullah.

The ceremony was attended by Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Jamal Shamayleh.
