04-02-2025 12:00 PM

Ammon News - 11 people suffered from suffocation and shortness of breath as a result of inhaling gases, vapors and smoke rising from gas and wood heaters in the Marj Al-Hamam and Ain Al-Basha areas.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that first aid was provided to the injured and they were transferred to hospitals.

Also, a fire also broke out in one of the residential apartments in the al-Jabal al-Akhdar area in a five-storey building, where firefighting teams worked to extinguish the fire, which caused two people to suffer minor burns to their bodies.

They were given first aid and transferred to Al-Bashir Hospital, while the cause of the fire was attributed to a cooking gas leak.
