Fair weather forecast Saturday

Ammon News - The maximum temperatures recorded on Saturday stand at their seasonal averages and the weather is fair in high mountainous heights and plains, and hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

The JMD also warns of the danger of direct exposure to sunlight at peak times, especially in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

According to the JMD report, a slight rise is forecast in temperatures on Sunday and the weather will be relatively hot in the Kingdom's hilltops and plains, and sweltering in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba regions.

On Monday, the weather will substantially remain unchanged as the day earlier.

As for Tuesday, a slight drop in mercury is forecast, and the weather will be moderate in the mountainous heights and plains, and sizzling in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

Today, mercury in the capital Amman will hit a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 22C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a scorching 40C, sliding to 29C at night.
