Slight drop in temperatures on Saturday

Ammon News - Saturday will see a slight drop in temperatures, and the weather will be relatively hot almost countrywide and sweltering in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
The JMD warned of the danger of direct exposure to sunlight at peak times, especially in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
According to the JMD report, effect of the hot spell affecting the Kingdom will recede on Sunday, as another drop in temperatures is forecast to become around their seasonal averages and the weather will be fair in the mountainous heights and plains, and hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
On Monday, a slight rise in mercury is expected, as the weather will return to be relatively hot almost nationwide on Monday and Tuesday and scorching in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Today, mercury in the capital Amman will hit a high of 35 degrees Celsius and a low of 19C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a sweltering 43C, sliding to 27C at night.
