Jordan, Saudi Arabia talk parliamentary cooperation

Ammon News - Lower House Speaker Ahmed Safadi and Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council Abdullah Al Sheikh held discussions in Riyadh on Tuesday over parliamentary cooperation.

Safadi is currently leading a delegation on an official visit to the Saudi capital, where they have already met with the Saudi Minister of Water, Environment, and Agriculture. They are also expected to have meetings with other officials during their stay.

During their discussions, both parties addressed numerous issues of mutual interest, with a focus on promoting common goals. They particularly emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination between the Shura Council and the Jordanian Parliament.

Al Sheikh was also invited to visit Jordan next month.

Safadi commended Saudi Arabia's services during the Hajj season and the country's advancement in various domains.

The Speaker of the Saudi Council lauded the strong bond and deep-rooted relationship between the two nations.
