Ammon News - Maximum temperatures are forecast to remain at their seasonal average on Saturday and the weather will be moderate in the Kingdom's hilltops and plains, and hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily update said.

According to the JMD report, Sunday and Monday weather will substantially remain similar to the day earlier.

On Tuesday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected and summer weather will prevail over the mountainous heights and plains, and sweltering conditions will hit the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

Also today, daytime temperatures are forecast to hit 31 degrees Celsius in Amman, sliding to 19C during night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a scorching 40C, dipping to 28C over night hours.
