Mild temperatures to prevail on weekend

Ammon News - Temperatures Friday will be moderate over mountain heights and plains and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with clouds appearing at low altitudes in the morning hours in the north of Jordan, according to the Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD).
It is expected that the maximum temperatures will be recorded today within their normal rates for this time of the year.
On Saturday, temperatures are forecast to remain moderate over mountain heights and plains and warm in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and the northwesterly moderate winds will be brisk at times.

Today’s peak temperatures will be between 31 and 27 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 19 or even 16 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have scorching weather, with highs of 40C and lows of 27C.
