Ammon News - Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) dealt during the month of June with 593 cases of trafficking and promotion of narcotic substances, during which 1,098 people were arrested between a dealer and a promoter of narcotic substances, including people classified as dangerous, as they were all referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

The PSD's spokesperson confirmed that the Anti-Narcotics Department is continuing and vigorously in its qualitative operations to pursue all forms of dealing with narcotic substances.

During these cases, (124) kilograms of hashish, (900) thousand tablets of narcotic Captagon, (8) thousand tablets of narcotic pills, (4 kilos) of narcotic crystal and (37) kg of narcotic marijuana were seized, in addition to (24) grams of narcotic cocaine, 2 kilograms of industrial marijuana, 2 kilograms and 400 grams of narcotic industrial marijuana powder, and a group of firearms, the spokesperson added.
