King Hussein Bridge received 69k passengers during Eid holiday

Ammon News - A total of 35,000 travelers arrived to the Kingdom through King Hussein Bridge crossing during Eid Al-Adha period, while the number of departing passengers stood at 34,000, Jordan Customs (JC) said.

Meanwhile, 7,880 visitors entered Jordan and more than 15,000 passengers left the Kingdom through Jaber border crossing with Syria, in addition to 4,197 various vehicles during the same period, JC said in a press statement on Sunday.

The statement referred to customs efforts aimed to activate the emergency plan in force in the two border crossings, ensure worker endeavors to suit traveler number and coordination under a single integrated mechanism with all security agencies operating at the border crossings.
