Ammon News - Director of Ajloun Tourism Muhammad Al-Deek, said that nearly a quarter of a million people have visited Ajloun Castle since the beginning of 2023, with an increase of 67%.

In May 2023, Ajloun Castle received more than 90,000 visitors, and in the first six months of last year, 150,000 visitors, he added.

He expected that the number of visitors to the castle by the end of the year would reach 400,000 visitors, which is an unprecedented number in 10 years.

He also pointed out that Ajloun Governorate is a distinguished tourist destination and a major tourist attraction for visitors.

He expected that the operation of the Ajloun cable car project would contribute to attracting tourism to the governorate.
