Ammon News - In an effort to streamline tasks and save time and effort, the Ministry of Labor has introduced a new online service on Thursday to approve and authenticate the internal regulation of private sector establishments, going into effect on Sunday.

According to Muhammad Zyoud, the ministry's media spokesperson, Article (55) of the Labor Law requires employers with 10 or more employees to build an internal system for the establishment, which must be certified by the ministry. The system should include information about working hours, daily and weekly vacations, work infractions, fines, and sanctions, as well as any other pertinent information.

Any business owner can make a request to approve a new internal system or to authorize an update to the existing internal system of the establishment by visiting the ministry's website, clicking on the "services" tab, and then selecting the "approval of the internal system" button. The request will then be confirmed through text message to the employer, Zyoud indicated.

He added that the employer must follow up on their application electronically to fix any issue that the ministry may request. After receiving the approval, the employer can obtain a copy of it from the ministry.

He pointed out that a guide is available on the website explaining how to write the internal system and the "user's" guide, how to submit the application and the documents required from the employer.
