Moderate weather Thursday, rise in temperatures over weekend

Ammon News - Thursday's temperatures are predicted to fall within the expected range for this time of year. This will result in moderately hot weather conditions across the mountainous areas and plains, while the remaining regions will experience relatively hot to hot temperatures, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Additionally, some low-level clouds will be observed in the northern parts of the kingdom, while winds will be moderate, originating from the northwest direction, and occasionally picking up.

On Friday, a slight increase in temperatures is anticipated. However, the weather will continue to be moderately hot over the mountainous areas, while the rest of the regions will experience relatively hot conditions.

Looking ahead to Saturday, another slight rise in temperatures is forecast. Consequently, the weather is expected to be relatively hot over the mountainous areas and plains, while the remaining regions will encounter hot conditions. The winds will maintain a moderate speed, coming from the northwest, and occasionally picking up.

Today's peak temperatures will be between 32 and 30 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 19 or even 17 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 39C and lows of 25C.
