Jordan field hospital 'Gaza 69' expands its prosthetics services-Commander

Ammon News - In continued implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah II's directives, Commander of the Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/69, Col. Anwar Bashabsha, said the enclave's Artificial Limbs& Polio Center (ALPC) has been provided with "highly skilled" technical staff in the prosthetics field to provide advice and training.
The new staff will also carry out prosthetic limb implants for a number of Gaza patients who have suffered from amputation, Bashabsha pointed out.
Touring the ALPC on Sunday, he announced Jordan's "remarkable" efforts have paid off in treating 5 Gazan prosthetics patients and work is continuing by the hospital's technicians at a "high level of efficiency and excellence to Gazans".
Meanwhile, the hospital's director, Maj, Dr. Muayyad Abu Qaoud, said a training program had been prepared for the ALPC staff.
For his part, ALPC director, Mohammad Douima, valued the King's assistance to the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, noting the ALPC maintains "close" cooperation and coordination relations with the Jordanian hospital in Gaza, which treats some patients who need close follow-up and car
