Investment minister, Australian envoy talk cooperation

Ammon News - Investment Minister Khairy Amro has discussed with Australian Ambassador to Jordan, Bernard Lynch, means of cementing bilateral economic and investment ties, as well as cooperation between the two countries' private sectors.

Talks during the meeting also tackled the competitive advantages that Jordan enjoys, foremost among which are security, political stability, as well as the highly developed and qualified human competencies, a statement by the ministry said on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the minister also highlighted the Jordanian laws issued to regulate the economic and investment work, along with the several free trade agreements signed to open new markets for local products.

The envoy said that Jordan enjoys an attractive investment environment, highlighting his country’s interest in establishing energy and information technology projects in the Kingdom.
