The workshop comes at a time when national economies and businesses are counting the costs as a result of COVID-19, which has caused an economic shock three times worse than the 2008 financial crisis, read the statement. The event, which witnessed the participation of MPs and activists, shed light on the economic challenges and unemployment facing Jordanians. Participants looked at how the Netherlands, a country where unemployment rates are only 5 per cent, manages economic challenges and fights unemployment.
