Recent rain channels 4mcm of water into dams

Ammon News - About 4 million cubic meters (mcm) of rainwater entered the Kingdom’s major dams during the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Water and Irrigation.

In a statement on Monday, the ministry said that the volume of rainfall from the beginning of the season amounted to 310mcm, which constitutes 3.8 percent of its long-term annual average of 8.1 billion cubic meters.

"The capital received 14.9mm of rain, with Wadi Al Seer registering the highest amount, followed by Madaba (8.8mcm) and Balqa (7.1mcm)," the statement added.
