Eight coronavirus fatalities and 1,715 infections were recorded in the Kingdom Monday, bringing the death toll from the pandemic to 10,887 and the caseload to 843,204, according to the Ministry of Health.
The positivity rate of 32,213 PCR tests collected today was 5.32 per cent, it said in its daily brief.
The number of currently active cases in the Kingdom reached 15,700, including 124 that were admitted to hospitals today and 493 still being hospitalized, it said, adding that 113 Covid-19 patients were discharged today.
The ministry's figures also showed that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the northern region was 10 per cent, intensive care beds 30 per cent and respirators 12 per cent.
In the central region, it said, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 12 per cent, intensive care beds 27 per cent and respirators 9 per cent.
In the southern region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 14 per cent, intensive care beds 14 per cent and respirators 11 per cent, it said.
The daily report showed that 1,068 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of expected recoveries after the end of the 14-day isolation period to 816,617.
The number of those who got the first vaccine shot reached 3,829,713, and those who were double-jabbed numbered 3,420,178, according to the latest figures.
