On Wednesday, mercury levels will slightly drop, making relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, while it will remain fair in other regions, with low-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said. The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Monday will range between 26 and 29 degrees Celsius. In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as mercury levels slide to 19C or even 14C in the southern highlands. In the port city of Aqaba, daytime temperatures will stand at 36 degrees, while lows will slide to 24C at night.
