Ammon News - Roast dinner loves can now apply for a dreamy paid opportunity to be a Sunday roast taste tester at The Botanist and earn up to £500 for eating potatoes, meat, veg and Yorkshire puds.

Calling all roast dinner fans! There's an exciting new job going that's got your name written all over it.


The Botanist bar and restaurant chain is looking for a 'pro-tato tester' to sample their new Sunday lunch to ensure it is at its best, as reported by The Daily Star.

And for the arduous task of eating a plate full of roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and all the other trimmings you can get a full £500 salary for the job.

Yes, really. It almost sounds too good to be true, right?!

The ad on The Botanist's website states: "If you know what makes a special spud or a how-to build roast worth a boast, then we have got the perfect weekend job for you!

"We're on the hunt for a paid roast reviewer who will make sure our new sharing roast is always share-worthy!

"The role has been created to ensure our ‘family-style sharing roasts' are up to their Sunday Best."

The lucky candidate selected for the scrumptious position will attend a tasting session with up to five of their loved ones on Sunday, September 19.

Following this they will need to write a 500-word review on the roast dinner or create a video for social media platforms such as TikTok or Instagram.

As well as the tasting session, perks of the role including winning a monthly rost for two with unlimited roast and of course a £500 salary.

Applications for the job are open now and to apply, candidates simply have to share which branch is closest to them and pen 500 words on why they would make the perfect 'pro-tato tester'.

Following this, they have to share which platform they would upload their roast dinner review to.

Applications close on September 12, 2021.
