Islamic Charity Centre implements solar project for Islamic Hospital

Ammon News - The Islamic Charity Centre Society on Sunday signed an agreement with the Jordan Climate Change Consultancy Company to implement a solar energy project for the Islamic Hospital in Aqaba, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Chairman of the Islamic Charity Centre Society Jameel Dheisat said that these development projects come within a national strategy to invest in renewable and clean energies.

Dheisat pointed out that the association will redirect the savings resulting from solar energy use to sponsorship and development purposes. The project will be implemented within a 10- dunum plot of land in Maan, at a cost of JD660,000, with a capacity of 950 KVA.

The Islamic Charity Centre Society’s engineering department will supervise the construction of the project.
