Ammon News - The Israeli occupation authorities on Monday announced the imposition of a comprehensive closure on the Palestinian territories starting Tuesday, under the pretext of the Israeli Knesset elections.
The Israeli public radio said that Israel will impose a comprehensive closure on various areas of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip on the election day, which is scheduled to be held tomorrow, based on the assessment of the security situation and the crossing borders' working hours.
"Humanitarian, medical and exceptional cases will be allowed to move during the closure, after obtaining a permit," the radio added.
Israelis will cast their votes tomorrow for the fourth time in two years, as the conflicts between the parties prevented the formation of a stable Israeli government.
On the other hand, all crossings into the West Bank and the coastal enclave will be shut down on the occasion of the Jewish Passover holiday, starting from Thursday/Friday midnight until Saturday April 3.
