The PSD media spokesman called on the public to stay away from valleys and low-lying areas, particularly in the south and the Dead Sea, where expected downpours can trigger flashfloods. He also called for the safe use of heaters after related accidents during last week's snow storm left four people dead and injured many more. He also urged the citizens to call the emergency number 911 if needed.

Public Security issues weather warning

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) Tuesday called for extra precautions as weather forecasts predict unstable weather conditions will affect the Kingdom today.

The PSD media spokesman called on the public to stay away from valleys and low-lying areas, particularly in the south and the Dead Sea, where expected downpours can trigger flashfloods.

He also called for the safe use of heaters after related accidents during last week's snow storm left four people dead and injured many more.

He also urged the citizens to call the emergency number 911 if needed.
