Public-private team in Baghdad for economic talks

Ammon News - A Jordanian delegation comprising Minister of Public Works and Housing, Yahya Al-Kesbi, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Maha Ali, and a number of officials and private sector representatives will Monday start a visit to Baghdad to discuss ways to advance economic cooperation between Jordan and Iraq.

In a statement, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply said the visit follows a recent trip by Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh and a number of cabinet members to Baghdad and aims to explore broader areas of economic cooperation.

Representatives from the industrial and commercial sectors, the Jordanian Businessmen Association and the Contractors Association are taking part in the talks.
