Ammon News - The Royal Medical Services (JRMS) Wednesday began immunization in various hospitals, following the arrival of the Chinese-Emirati Sinopharm vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine earlier this week.

Director-General of the RMS, Brig. Adel Whadneh, said the vaccination at RMS-affiliated centers is implemented through the National Center for Security and Crisis Management's COVID-19 vaccine platform.

Wahdneh stressed that frontline health works are among the top priority groups that will receive the vaccine to ensure their safety and perform their medical duty to the fullest.

A national vaccination program targets about 68,000 people within the first group to be immunized, as the number of people registered on the government vaccination platform reached 201,144.
