The meeting covered joint efforts to counter COVID-19 and its health and socio-economic implications, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern, especially efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East. King Abdullah stressed the need to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent, sovereign, and viable Palestinian state on the 4 June 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital. His Majesty also stressed the importance of moving forward in reaching a peaceful settlement of the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, in accordance with international law and UN resolutions, in order to ensure security and stability. Senior Jordanian and Armenian officials attended the meeting.

The meeting covered joint efforts to counter COVID-19 and its health and socio-economic implications, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern, especially efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East.
