Temperatures set to rise for three days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday creating warm conditions in the hilly areas and the Badia region, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said .
Clouds at various altitudes with scattered showers are also forecast and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds.
A further rise in mercury levels is also forecast over the next two days, reaching 6-8 degrees above their annual average on Friday, creating hot to relatively hot conditions across the Kingdom.
Clouds at high and medium altitudes are also forecast , with the remaining chance for scattered showers in different parts of the country, the JMD added .
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the southern cities will reach 30 degrees Celsius dropping down to 18 and 11 respectively, while in the northern parts they will range between a high of 33 and a low of 19. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 38 degrees and lows standing at 28, the JMD further said.
