FM: Jordan to take necessary measures to safeguard its security

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Nasser Judeh, Sunday, said Jordan will take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and protect its people.
During a phone call with the UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, Judeh emphasized that the international community is required to assume its responsibilities regarding the Syrian refugees and the burden shouldered by Jordan as a result of hosting more than 1.3 million Syrian refugees.
The phone call was a follow-up of a previous call made by His Majesty King Abdullah with the UN chief two days ago.
The UN chief offered condolences to Jordan over the loss of lives in the terror attack on the Kingdom’s border with Syria, and reiterated his solidarity with the government and people of Jordan.
