King meets families of Jordan Armed Forces and security agencies' martyrs

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Army voiced pride in the sacrifices of the Arab army and security agencies' personnel, as well as their efforts in defending Jordan's security, borders and stability.

During a meeting with the families of the martyrs of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and other security agencies, who were killed during the recent terrorist attack on the border with Syria, His Majesty extended his deepest sympathies to the families of the martyrs, and said this only increased Jordanians' pride in the army and security agencies .

The King voiced his pride and those of all Jordanians in members of the armed forces and security services, saying "they are the first line of defense for Jordan, and the ones who safeguard the security of the Kingdom and its citizens.

His Majesty said that the terrorist attack will only strengthen our resolve to firmly counter terrorist gangs.

The families of the martyrs expressed their appreciation for His Majesty's support to the army and security personnel, who will not spare an effort to defend the country and its citizens.

The meeting was attended by the Royal Court chief, the King's advisor for military affairs and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff and the secretary general of the Royal Court.
