Serving citizens is top priority : Mulki

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Mulki said that achieving economic, social and political development to serve citizens is a top priority in the government's program in order to continue the political reform process including holding the elections as scheduled.

Mulki said in his first statement following the formation of the new government on Wednesday, that the government will fully cooperate with the Independent Elections Commission (IEC) and provide it will full support to hold fair and transparent parliamentary elections. He said the Letter of Designation was clear and specific and set a working program for this government, which will implement it in a fair and transparent manner.

" As of today, the government will issue instructions to implement the Decentralization Law," he added.

The Law includes making the necessary arrangements to hold the elections of the governorates’ councils next year.
