Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -Prime Minister Awn Khasawneh on Monday discussed with Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al Sheikh bilateral ties and means of further boosting them in various fields.

At the meeting, which was attended by Senate President Taher Masri, State Minister for Prime Ministry Affairs Klaib Fawaz and State Minister for Legal Affairs Ibrahim Al Jazi, Khasawneh said relations between the two countries were historic and distinguished, adding these relations were progressing thanks to His Majesty King Abdullah II and Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.

The two sides agreed to activate the Joint Jordanian-Saudi Committee as its plays an important role in boosting relations between the two countries.

Khasawneh also held a lunch banquet in honour of the Saudi council chairman and the accompanying delegation.
