Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) – Amman announced the launch of the 14th international workshop for business administration, hosted by the university until 4 April, with participations from top executives and international experts.
The workshop aims at exchanging experiences and point of views regarding the current economical situations, discussing cooperation opportunities that would strengthen the economic relationships between Arab countries on one hand, and European and Asian countries on the other.
In his comment, Dr. Faiz Zoubi, the Assistant Dean of the School of Management at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) – Amman said, “We’re glad we are hosting this specialized, international workshop in its 14th edition. We hope for the participants to be able to forge a comprehensive roadmap covering administrative, commercial investment, and economic sectors’ various layers.”
Event organization supervisor, Dr. Zoubi added, “At NYIT, we try to do our best, as a prestigious academic institution with a recognizable presence, to fulfill our commitment to the education matrix. We believe that our role does not stop with providing the market with professionals and academics, but crosses all the way to answering to the market and sectors needs, helping them establish future trends and objectives for its success.”
Noting that 54 top executives from the United States, Portugal, China, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Spain, Ukraine, Finland, and Syria are participating in the event.
NYIT praised the role Dr. Zoubi played in managing and follow up on the workshop’s activities that included practical and field trips, in addition to seminars and presentations during which participants exhibited top companies’ expertise and experiences.
Dr. Zoubi added, “We took all the necessary steps to ensure providing all the needs of the participants, to render this an efficient and unique experience.”
Enriching the workshop’s 10 days agenda, NYIT has also prepared entertainment and touristic trips that included historical sites like Petra, Rum, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
It should be mentioned that NYIT was established in 1955, and is considered one of the prominent American universities, placed in the top 55 amongst 3700 universities in the USA. The university established itself in Jordan in 2001, with three faculties including business administration, computer sciences, and arts.
