Israeli forces detain six Palestinians in Jenin and Nablus, injure youth in Qalqilia
Israeli occupation forces detained six Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank early Sunday and overnight, while a Palestinian youth was shot and injured during a separate military raid in Qalqilia.
In Jenin governorate, Israeli forces detained four Palestinians, including two brothers, during raids on their family homes.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Society said the forces detained brothers Hassan and Mohammed Herzallah after raiding their family home in Khirbet al-Tarm, west of Jenin.
They also detained Nayef Jalal Sammar and Mohammed Mahmoud Sammar after raiding their family homes in the town of al-Yamoun, west of Jenin.
In Nablus, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians during a raid on the village of Kafr Qalil, south of the city.
Israeli forces stormed the village at dawn, raided and searched several homes, ransacked their contents, and detained Mohammed Ramadan Abu Mustafa and Osama al-Qanni.
In Qalqilia, a Palestinian youth was shot and injured with live ammunition shortly before midnight during an Israeli military raid on the city.
Local sources said that Israeli forces stormed the city through its eastern entrance and deployed in the Kafr Saba neighborhood, firing live ammunition at Palestinian youths. One was shot in the foot and taken to hospital, where his condition was reported as stable.
During the raid, Israeli forces also stormed a home belonging to the Shawahneh family and caused damage to its contents.
