One person sustained a cut wound to the foot on Tuesday after a fire broke out inside a warehouse in Zarqa Governorate.
The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said specialized firefighting teams from the Civil Defense Directorate, supported by police and Gendarmerie forces, responded to a fire inside a 1,000-square-meter warehouse containing wood and raw materials used in furniture manufacturing.
The spokesperson explained that the fire produced thick smoke due to the nature of the burning materials, adding that firefighting teams extinguished the blaze, brought it under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby areas.
The fire also resulted in one person sustaining a cut to his right foot.
Ambulance crews provided the injured person with first aid before transferring him to Prince Faisal Government Hospital for treatment.
An investigation was launched to determine the cause of the fire.
